Prepare for the Adjustment

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND LOCK ASSEMBLIES ARE INSTALLED IN ALL
_______ THE LANDING GEAR. WITHOUT THE GROUND LOCK ASSEMBLIES, THE LANDING GEAR COULD RETRACT AND CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT.
(1)
If the ground lock assemblies are not installed in all the landing gear, do this task: Ground Lock Assemblies installation (AMM 32-00-01/201).

Lift the airplane with jacks until all tires are clear from the ground (AMM 07-11-11/201).
(3)
Connect the external electrical power supply.

Make sure that all circuit breakers on the circuit breaker panel (P6) for the landing gear are closed.

Remove the inner door of the shock strut for the main landing gear to adjust the uplock release rod (AMM 32-13-11/401).

Remove the ceiling panels for the cargo compartment at approximately body station 420.

Remove the turnbuckle locking clips from the cable MLGEA
(AMM 20-10-10/401).

(1)
Do these steps for the fixed uplock release rod:
(a)
Pressurize the hydraulic systems A (AMM 29-15-00/201).
(b)
Remove the ground lock assembly from the main landing gear to be adjusted (AMM 32-00-01/201).
