 NOTE:____ The total clearance must be between 0.002 - 0.020 inches (0.051 - 0.508 millimeter).
 (o)  Add or adjust the shims if it is necessary to get this clearance.
 NOTE:____ Align the centerline of the uplock hook (15) with the centerline of the uplock roller in |0.10 inch (2.54 millimeter).
 (p) (q) (r)  Add the special washer (1) and the nut.Tighten the nut with your hand.If it is necessary, loosen the nut to the nearest castellation with the hole in the shaft.
 NOTE:____ Lock the nut with the cotter pin.
 (s) (t)  Add the washer and the nut to the collar bolt (2).Tighten the nut 30 - 40 pound-inches (3.4 - 4.5 newton-meters).

 C. Installation Test for the Uplock Assembly of the Main Landing Gear
 S 584-069
 WARNING:_______REMOVE PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT FROM THE LANDING GEAR PATH. WHEN THE LANDING GEARS RETRACT, THEY CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (1)  Lift the airplane with the jacks (AMM 07-11-11/201).
 S 084-063
 WARNING: MAKE SURE THE GROUND LOCK PINS ARE INSTALLED ON ALL THE LANDING
_______ GEARS BUT THE ONE TO BE RETRACTED. WHEN YOU MOVE THE CONTROL LEVER FOR THE LANDING GEAR, THE LANDING GEAR CAN RETRACT AND CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (2)  
Remove the ground lock pin from the main landing gear to be
 retracted (AMM 32-00-01/201).

 (3)  
Extend and retract the main landing gear several times
 (AMM 32-32-00/501).

 

 NOTE: It will bleed the air from the uplock actuator and the lines.

 (a)  Examine for the correct gear operation.

Examine the hydraulic connections for leaks.

Extend the main landing gear and install the ground lock pin. To do this, do this task: Ground Lock Assembly Installation (AMM 32-00-01/201).

For hydraulic system A, do this task: Hydraulic System A or B Power Removal (AMM 29-15-00/201).

Do this task: Lower the Airplane Off the Jacks (AMM 07-11-11/201).
