 (14) If the stabilizing beam (2) was removed, install the stabilizing beam (2).
 NOTE: Make sure you install the stabilizing beam (2) correctly.
____ You must install the stabilizing beam (2) with the concave surface up.

 From the inboard side install the hinge bolt (1) with the wing door attached.

 Install the washers and nuts to the hinge bolt (1).

 Tighten the nuts to 360 - 630 pound-inches.

 Do these steps to connect the pushrod (10) for the outer wing door to the trunnion link (9) (View F, Fig. 401):

 (a)  
Install the bolt with the head forward.

 (b)  
Install the washer and nut.

 (c)  
737-300/-500 AIRPLANES WITH COTTER PIN; Tighten the nut to 450 - 500 pound-inches and install cotter pin.

 (d)  
737-300/-500 AIRPLANES WITH SELF-LOCKING NUT; Tighten the self-locking nut to 510 - 840 pound-inches.

 (e)  
737-400 AIRPLANES; Tighten the self-locking nut to 450 - 500 pound-inches.

 (1)  Lift the airplane with jacks (AMM 07-11-11/201).

 WARNING: MAKE SURE THE GROUND LOCK ASSEMBLIES ARE INSTALLED ON THE MAIN
_______ LANDING GEAR BEFORE YOU MOVE THE CONTROL LEVER FOR THE LANDING GEAR. IF THE CONTROL LEVER IS MOVED WITHOUT THE GROUND LOCKS INSTALLED, THE LANDING GEAR CAN RETRACT AND CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OF DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Pressurize hydraulic system A (AMM 29-15-00/201).

Put the control lever for the landing gear in the UP position then in the DOWN position.

Examine the hydraulic connections for leaks.
