Install the Bypass Valve

(1)
Remove all the plugs and caps from the bypass valve and the hydraulic lines.

Put the bypass valve in its position on the bracket and install the two top bolts. Do not tighten them.

(3)
Put the bonding jumper on the lower hole and install the lower mounting bolt through lug.

(4)
Tighten the three bolts that hold the bypass valve to the bracket.

(5)
Connect the hydraulic lines to the bypass valve.

(6)
Install the electrical connector on the valve actuator.

(1) Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

WARNING: MAKE SURE THE GROUND LOCK ASSEMBLIES ARE INSTALLED ON ALL THE
_______ LANDING GEAR. WITHOUT THE GROUND LOCKS, THE LANDING GEAR CAN RETRACT AND CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Make sure the ground lock assemblies are installed in the nose and main landing gear (AMM 32-00-01/201).

Put the landing gear lever in the down position.

5) AUTOSLAT NO. 1, AC
6) AUTOSLAT NO. 1, DC

Make sure these circuit breakers are opened:

P6 Panel
1) NOSE GEAR AIR/GND

3) STDBY HYD PUMP-ALT
4) PTU/LG BYPASS VALVE CONT 2

Put the airplane main gear in air mode by disconnecting the push pull cable from the right hand main gear upper torsion link and extending the cable.

Supply "B" system hydraulic pressure by means of the "B" system electric motor pump (AMM 29-15-00/201).
