 |  |  |  |
 |  |  | Corrective Action:  |
 |  |  | 1. This is a normal condition if EIS Primary display  |
 |  |  | (airplanes with EIS), or N1 Tach Indicator for  |
 |  |  | Engine 2 (airplanes without EIS), is not powered  |
 |  |  | or not installed.  |
 |  |  | 2. AIRPLANES WITH EIS;  |
 |  |  | Make sure that EIS PRIM 1 and EIS PRIM 3 circuit  |
 |  |  | breakers are closed.  |
 |  |  | AIRPLANES WITHOUT EIS;  |
 |  |  | Make sure that N1 TACH ENG1 and N1 TACH ENG2  |
 |  |  | circuit breakers are closed.  |
 |  |  | 3. AIRPLANES WITH EIS;  |
 |  |  | If the problems are not corrected, do a wiring  |
 |  |  | check between D295 pin 36 and D10094 pin 19 from  |
 |  |  | EIS Primary display.  |
 |  |  | AIRPLANES WITHOUT EIS;  |
 |  |  | If the problems are not corrected, do a wiring  |
 |  |  | check between D295 pin 36 and D544 pin 25 from N1  |
 |  |  | Tach Indicator Engine 1.  |
 |  |  | 5. Inspect electrical connectors for bent or broken  |
 |  |  | pins, contamination, or damage.  |
 |  |  | 6. If the problem is not corrected, troubleshoot EIS  |
 |  |  | or N1 Tachometer indicating system.  |
 |  |  | 7. If the problem is not corrected, replace the  |
 |  |  | Yaw Damper Coupler (AMM 22-12-31/401).  |
