If the display shows CYCLE -N? (where N is the number of the last power cycle that had a fault), push the YES key. 1) Make sure that the display shows a fault message. 2) If you want more details, push the down arrow key.
NOTE: These are the four fault details that MORE
____ DETAILS? contains: Detail 1 shows the message number. Detail 2 shows the flight deck effect. Detail 3 shows the LRU(s) that caused the fault. Detail 4 shows if the fault was hard or intermittent.
3) Make sure that the display shows MORE DETAILS? 4) Push the YES key. a) Make sure that the display shows the message number. 5) Push the down arrow key. a) Make sure that the display shows the flight deck effect.

6) Push the down arrow key. a) Make sure that the display shows the line replaceable unit (LRU). 7) Push the down arrow key. a) Make sure that the display shows the type of fault. 8) Push the down arrow key. a) Make sure that the display shows SHOP DETAILS?
(5) Do these steps to look for more fault messages in CYCLE -N:
(a)
Push the MENU key.
1) Make sure that the display shows the same fault message again.
(b)
Push the down arrow key. 1) Make sure that the display shows MORE DETAILS?
(c)
Push the NO key.
(d)
If the display shows a different fault message, do the steps for MORE DETAILS? shown above to find the fault details.
(e)
If the display shows END OF LIST, there are no more fault messages in CYCLE -N. Push the MENU key to go back to CYCLE -N?
(f)
Push the down arrow key.
1) If the display shows another power cycle number, there are more faults in FAULT HISTORY? Do the steps for CYCLE -N? shown above to find the fault messages for power cycles that occurred before CYCLE -N.
NOTE: The steps to find fault messages that occurred
____ before CYCLE -N are the same. You can go back as many power cycles as necessary to find all the data.
(g)
When you have all the necessary data, push and release the MENU key until the display shows FAULT HISTORY?
(h)
Push the ON/OFF key on the keypad. 1) Make sure that the display shows TURN DISPLAY OFF?
(i)
Push the YES key on the keypad.
