 D.  Put The Airplane Back To Its Initial Condition

 (1) Close the Electronic Equipment Access Door (AMM 12-31-11/201).

 (2) Remove the electrical power if it is not necessary
 (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 YAW DAMPER COUPLER - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

 1.  General_______
 A.  This procedure contains one task. This task makes sure the Yaw Damper Coupler operates correctly.
 TASK 22-12-31-705-010
 2.  Yaw Damper Coupler Test_______________________
 A.  General
 (1)  
Makes sure that you rig the rudder control system correctly.

 (2)  
Make sure all systems that supply data to the yaw damper system work properly.

 C.  Prepare For The Yaw Damper Coupler Test
 S 865-001
 (1)  Supply the electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL CONTROL
_______ SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDER, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SLATS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (2)  
Supply the hydraulic pressure to the flight control hydraulic system A and B (AMM 29-15-00/201).

 (3)
Make sure the flight control system A and B switches are on.

 (4)  
Make sure that you close these circuit breakers on the load control center:

 S 865-003
 (a)  P6-2 Circuit Breaker Panel.

 (b)  P18 Circuit Breaker Panel.
 1) YAW DAMPER AC
 2) YAW DAMPER DC
 3) ENG INTLK

 S 865-009
 (5)  Make sure that you have these conditions for the yaw damper test.
 NOTE: The line voltage must be 115 | 5.8 volts ac and
____
 28 | 1.4 volts dc.

 (a)  
All systems that supply data to the yaw damper are on.

 (b)  
The Autopilot Warning Light comes on steady when you set the Bite test switch to ARM.

 (c)  
The airspeed is at zero knots.

 (d)  
The yaw damper must be engaged.

 NOTE: It is not necessasary to complete these tests in sequence.

 (6)  When the test shows a "repeat" step or when you want to do a specific test, do these steps:
 (a)  
Turn the BITE switch to OFF then to ARM.

 (b)  
Push the GO button until you reach one test before the test you have to do.
