(3) Connect the power cable between the test set and the power outlet on the (D152) electronic equipment rack or an equivalent power outlet.

(4) Disconnect D1827 (A system) and D1691 (B system) connectors from the autopilot actuators.

(6) Connect the VTVM to the LVDT FEEDBACK jacks J10A and J11A on the test set (A system).

(7) Disconnect the airplane wire from the position sensors.

(8) Connect the test cables between the A sensor and test A sensor and the B sensor to test B sensor.

(9) Set the switches on the test set as follows: (a) LVDT FEEDBACK switches A to the ON position and B to the OFF position

CURRENT SELECT switch to A T-VALVE

SOLENOID switches to the A NORM, ON, and B NORM, positions
(h)
ACTUATOR SELECT switch to the A ONLY position
(i)
POWER switch to the ON position.
NOTE: The power light and all A lights will be on.

E. Sensor Adjustment (A system)

(1)
Turn the position control knob on the test set until the meter is at its lowest value.

(2)
Make sure the voltage between J10A and J11A is less than 0.075 volts and then lock the position control knob in its position.
(3)
Remove the VTVM from jacks J10A and J11A.
(4)
Connect the VTVM to B NSS FEEDBACK J7B and J8B on the test set.
(5)
Loosen the screw on the sensor clamp until you can turn the sensor.
