1) Make sure that the FLT CONTROL A low pressure light below the switch comes on.
(b)
Push the ON/OFF key on the keypad. 1) Make sure that the display shows ENTER BITE?
(c)
Push the YES key on the keypad within ten seconds. 1) Make sure that the display shows EXISTING FAULTS?
(d)
Push and release the down arrow key until the display shows GROUND TESTS?
(e)
Push YES key on the keypad. 1) Make sure that the display shows SELF TEST?
(f)
Push and release the down arrow key until the display shows REDUCER TEST?
(g)
Push the YES key on the keypad.
1) Make sure that the display shows these indications: a) WARNING! WARNING! b) RUDDER MOVEMENT c) RUDDER CLEARED?
(h)
Make sure that all personnel are clear of the rudder.
WARNING:_______THE STEPS THAT FOLLOW WILL CAUSE THE RUDDER TO MOVE. MAKE SURE THAT ALL PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE RUDDER BEFORE YOU DO THESE STEPS. RUDDER MOVEMENT CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(i)
Push the YES key on the keypad. 1) Make sure that the display shows SYS A HYD ON? 2) Make sure that the HYD PUMPS A switch on the P5 overhead
panel is ON.
(j)
Push the YES key on the keypad. 1) Make sure that the display shows FLT CTRL A SW ON?

2) Set the FLT CONTROL A switch on the P5 overhead panel to ON. a) Make sure that the FLT CONTROL A low pressure light
below the switch goes off in less than ten seconds.
(k) Push the YES key on the keypad. 1) Make sure that the display shows these indications:
NOTE:____The x's are a number. Make sure that each number has the correct value.
a) Reducer = off
b) A hyd xxxx psi
(where xxxx is more than 2200) c) Reducer = on d) A hyd xxxx psi
(where xxxx is more than 850 and less than 1250) e) Reducer = off f) A hyd xxxx psi
(where xxxx is more than 2200) 2) After approximately 40 seconds, make sure that the display shows Lo Press (A) off? 3) Make sure that the FLT CONTROL A low pressure light on the P5 overhead panel goes off.
(l)
Push the YES key on the keypad. 1) Make sure that the display shows Lo Press (A) on? 2) Make sure that the FLT CONTROL A low pressure light on the
P5 overhead panel comes on.
(m)
Push the YES key on the keypad. 1) Make sure that the display shows TEST PASS. 2) Make sure that the FLT CONTROL A low pressure light on the
P5 overhead panel goes off.
(n)
Push the ON/OFF key on the keypad. 1) Make sure that the display shows TURN DISPLAY OFF?
(o)
Push the YES key on the keypad. 1) Make sure that the display momentarily shows DISPLAY OFF.

Connect the radio altimeter test set to radio altimeter 1.

Set the altitude on radio altimeter 1 to 2000 feet.
