Put the autopilot A (or B as applicable) engage switch to CWS.

Make sure CWS roll and CWS pitch lights come on.

 (3)  
Turn the control wheel left and make sure the left aileron moves up.

 (4)  
Turn the control wheel right and make sure the right aileron moves up.

Put the control wheel to center detent and make sure the ailerons are in the center.

 ELEVATOR POSITION SENSOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General (Fig. 401)_______
 A.  This procedure contains two tasks. The first is for the removal of the elevator position sensor. The second is for the installation of the elevator position sensor.
 B.  The elevator position sensor is connected to the elevator torque tube and is installed on the aft bulkhead station 1156 (Ref 27-31-00/201 Elevator and Tab Control System). The elevator position sensor is connected to the lower (input) torque tube (adjacent to lower RH control cable quadrant).

Disconnect the electrical connectors on the sensor.

Remove the bolt and lock nut from the crank clamp attached to the micro adjustment rod assembly.
