b) Open the AURAL WARNING circuit breaker. c) Set the F/D switches on the mode control panel to the OFF position.
2) Push the LSK adjacent to (<CONTINUE) and make sure that the CDU shows DFCS BITE TEST CURRENT STATUS CHAN A/B SELECT ADDITIONAL TESTS.
3) Push the LSK adjacent to (<MACH TRIM SYSTEM) to do the MACH TRIM SYSTEM TEST.
(i) AIRPLANES WITH -912 AND ON FCC; Do these steps: 1) Push the LSK adjacent to (<MACH TRIM SYSTEM) to use the
MACH TRIM SYSTEM test. 2) Push the LSK adjacent to (<CHANNEL A and B) to test both channels. 3) Do the steps, shown below, on the CDU display. a) Open the STAB TRIM circuit breaker on the P18-0 circuit
breaker panel. b) Open AURAL WARNING circuit breaker. c) Set both F/D switches on the mode control panel to the
OFF position. 4) Push the LSK adjacent to (<CONTINUE) to start the test 5) Do the MACH TRIM test instructions as shown on the CDU
display.
(j) Make sure the test is completed without an indication of failure.
D. Put the Airplane Back to Its Initial Condition.

MACH TRIM FLAP SWITCH - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first is the removal of the mach trim switch from the flap control unit. The second is the installation of the mach trim flap switch.
B. Seven switches are installed on the flap control unit. The Mach Trim Flap Switch, S290 (also known as Flap Switch No. 2) is installed on the forward part of the unit housing (Fig. 401). The remaining six switches can be found as follows:
