 (t)  Set the ENGAGE A switch to the OFF and then to the ON position.
 Make sure that the elevator does not move.
 (u)  Set the ENGAGE B switch to the ON position.
 (v)  Set the SOLENOID A switch to the +HDOVR position. Make sure
 that the elevator does not move more than 0.35 inch (0.59
 degree).
 (w)  Set the SOLENOID A switch to the A NORM and then to the -HDOVR
 position. Make sure that the elevator does not move more than
 0.35 inch (0.59 degree).

 (x)  
Set the SOLENOID A switch to the A NORM position.

 (y)  
Set the SOLENOID B switch to the +HDOVR position. Make sure that the elevator does not move more than 0.35 inch (0.59 degree).

Set the SOLENOID B switch to the B NORM and then to -HDOVR position. Make sure that the elevator does not move more than


 0.35 inch (0.59 degree). (aa) Set the SOLENOID B switch to the B NORM position. (ab) Set the ACTUATOR SELECT switch to the A&B COMMON position. (ac) Adjust the POSITION CONTROL A switch until the elevator
 trailing edge moves to 1.20 |0.06 inches (2.00 |0.10 degrees) below the index mark. Lock the POSITION CONTROL A in its position.
 (ad) Connect the VTVM to the LVDT FEEDBACK - B J10B and J11B. Keep a record of the voltage.
 (ae) Set the ACTUATOR SELECT switch to the A&B INDEPENDENT position.
 (af) Set the PISTON A and ENGAGE A switch to the OFF position.
 (ag) Adjust the POSITION CONTROL B until the VTVM reads the same voltage as in the step (ad) |0.03 volts. Make sure that the elevator position is 1.20 |0.03 inches (2.00 |0.10 degrees) below the index mark. Lock the POSITION CONTROL B in its position.
 (ah) Set the PISTON A and ENGAGE A switches to the ON position.
 (ai) Set the PISTON B and ENGAGE B switches to the OFF position.
 (aj) Connect the VTVM to the LVDT FEEDBACK J10A and J11A.
 (ak) Adjust the POSITION CONTROL A switch until the VTVM reads the same voltage as in the step (ad) |0.03 volt. Make sure that the elevator position is 1.20 |0.06 inches below the index mark. Keep a record of the elevator position. Lock the POSITION CONTROL A in its position.
 (al) Set the PISTON B and ENGAGE B switches to the ON position. (am) Make sure that the elevator stays at the 1.20 |0.06 inches
 (2.00 |0.10 degrees) below the index mark. Keep a record of the elevator position.

 (an) Set up the conditions as shown on the table below. Make sure that the trailing edge positions of the elevator are in the tolerances as in the table.
 NOTE: Set the SOLENOID A and SOLENOID B to the NORM position
