7) SOLENOIDS ON/OFF (center switch) - ON 8) A&B SOLENOID - A NORM, B NORM 9) ACTUATOR SELECT - B ONLY 10) POWER - ON
(i) Make sure that these lights on the test set are on: 1) SOLENOID EXCITATION (PISTON and ENGAGE) - B 2) LVDT EXCITATION - B 3) POWER
NOTE:____ All other lights must be OFF.
(j) (k) (l) (m) Connect the VTVM to the LVDT FEEDBACK - B J10B and J11B.Use the POSITION CONTROL B to align the elevator to the index mark |0.06 inch (|0.10 degree).Make sure that the VTVM reads 2.00 |0.03 volts. If it is not, do a check of the elevator rigging. Lock the POSITION CONTROL B in its position.Set up the conditions as shown in the table below. Make sure that the right elevator positions are in the tolerances as in the table.
NOTE:____ Set the SOLENOID B switch to the B NORM position after each condition.

(4) S 865-024Decrease the pitot pressure to 0 psig.
(5) S 725-070Increase the pitot pressure to 1.30 |0.05 psgi to do this single authority check: (a) Set up the condition as shown in the table below. Make sure that the right elevator position is in the tolerances as in the table.
NOTE:____ Set the SOLENOID B switch to the B NORM position after each condition.
