MACH TRIM ACTUATOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first is the removal of the mach trim actuator from the top of the elevator feel and centering unit. The second is the installation of the mach trim actuator.
B. If the elevator rigging is changed, the mach trim actuator must be calibrated. To find if the mach trim actuator is correctly calibrated refer to 22-21-11/501 - A/T. For instructions on how to adjust the rigging refer to 27-31-0/501 - A/T.

A. Standard Tools and Equipment
(1) Rigging Pin - E-5, 0.309/0.311 inch diameter, 3.7 +/- 0.25 inches long (MS20392-4).
NOTE: This rigging pin is part of F70207-83.
