 (g)  Make sure the CDU display shows 109.1 |0.5 degrees.
 NOTE: After you adjust the PLA one time, make sure the display
____ reads 109.1 |0.5 degrees. Each time you adjust the PLA synchros with the rig pins installed, make sure the value shows 109.1 |0.5 degrees.
 (h)  
Remove the rig pin from the engine control box.

 (i)  
Move the throttle lever full aft to idle.

 (j)  
Make sure the CDU shows the value of the synchro between -6.0 and +22.0 degrees.

 (k)  
Push the LSK 6L (<INDEX) for the A/T BITE TEST index page.

 (l)  
Do the A/T CURRENT STATUS BITE test (Ref 22-04).

 (3)  AIRPLANES WITH A/T COMPUTER 10-62017-11 AND SUBSEQUENT; Do the adjustment test:
 (a)  
737-300 AIRPLANES WITH A CFM56-3B-1 OR CFM56-3B-2 ENGINE; Make sure that the TARGET angle is 327.5 degrees.

 (b)  
Push the two throttle levers all the way forward to the mechanical stop.

 (c)  
Loosen the clamps on the PLA synchro.

 (d)  
Turn the synchro body until the respective THROT SYNC and TARGET indications agree within |0.5 degree on the FMCS CDU

 (e)  
Tighten the PLA synchro clamps.

 (f)  
Move the throttle levers to the mid-position, then push forward to the forward stop.

 (g)  
Make sure the respective THROT SYNC and TARGET indications are still within |0.5 degrees with each other.

 (h)  
Move the throttle levers to the idle stop.

 (i)  
Make sure the values of the synchro is between -6.0 and +22.0 degrees.

 (j)  
Push the LSK 6L (<INDEX) for the A/T BITE TEST index page.

 (k)  
Do the A/T Current Status BITE test (AMM 22-04-00/101 or AMM 22-04-10/101).

Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE identifiers from the thrust levers on the aisle stand.

Move the thrust levers forward and back to make sure they operate smoothly above their full range of travel.

 AUTOTHROTTLE SERVOMECHANISM COMPONENTS - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General_______
 A.  This procedure contains two tasks. The first task is for the removal of the autothrottle servomechanism components. The second task is for the installation of the autothrottle servomechanism components.
 B.  You can find the autothrottle servomechanism components in the aft area of the electronics compartment. There is one servomechanism component for each engine. Each servomechanism component contains four parts: a torque switch mechanism, an actuator assembly, a potentiometer assembly and a torque switch (Fig. 401).
 C.  The torque switch is a part of the engine control cable. The removal and installation instructions for the torque switch mechanism are in procedure 76-11-03/401.
 D.  The actuator assembly contains a servomoter, a reduction gear train and a electromagnetic clutch. You can remove the unit in the airplane and ignore the cable system of the engine control.
 E.  You can find the torque switch on the higher face of the torque switch mechanism body.
