 4.  Power Lever Angle Synchro Adjustment____________________________________
 A. General
 (1)  
Adjust the power lever angle (PLA) synchro when you replace a PLA synchro (or an engine fuel control box unit or an engine).

 (2)  
The rigging adjustment of the PLA synchro is part of the A/T BITE


 B. Equipment and Materials
 (1)  Rig Pin Kit - F70207 (for airplanes with A/T computer -1 thru -5)
 NOTE:____One rig pin required: F70207-23 or MS20392-3C (optional) pin, or equivalent 0.248 +0.000/-0.002 inch diameter, 3 inch long rod or bolt.

 NOTE: The throttle lever angles values should be around zero at the

 NOTE: AIRPLANES WITH A/T COMPUTER P/N 10-62017-11 AND SUBSEQUENT;
____ The equivalent SYNC (synchro) values shown are from around zero to around 327.5 degrees.

Make sure that throttle levers are at the idle stop (full aft) and install the DO-NOT-OPERATE identifiers.

 E. PLA synchro Adjustment
 S 745-024
 (1)  AIRPLANES WITH A/T COMPUTER P/N 10-62017-1 THRU P/N 10-62017-5; Do the A/T BITE Test Rigging Adjust
 WARNING: YOU MUST STAY OUT OF THE CABLE RUNS AND THE MEC BOX AREA
_______ ON THE ENGINES. THE AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT OF THE THROTTLE LEVERS IN THIS TEST CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (a)  
Push LSK 2L (<RIGGING ADJUST) and make sure that CDU shows the A/T BITE TEST - RIGGING ADJUST page.

 (b)  
Engage the A/T.

 (c)  
Make sure that throttle levers move forward about 20 degrees, then A/T disengages.


 NOTE: If the throttle levers do not move forward, open and
____ then close the auto throttle AC and DC circuit breakers and repeat the procedure above.
 (d)  Put a 3-inch rig pin (1/4 inch diameter) into the part Power Rig hole.
 NOTE: The Part Power Rig hole has a mark "R" on the engine
____ control box (Fig. 503). Make sure you move the Power Lever back and forward during the procedure.
