Make sure the THROT SYNC and TARGET values are still in |0.5 degrees.
(g)
Move the two throttle levers fully aft gently until they touch the idle stop.
(h)
Make sure that THROT 1 SYNC and THROT 2 SYNC values on the CDU are between -6.0 and +22.0 degrees.
NOTE: This is a check of the PLA synchro electrical output

rotation.
(i)
Push LSK 6L (<INDEX) and make sure that CDU shows the A/T BITE TEST 2/2 page.
(j)
Push the INIT REF key on the CDU to go out of the A/T BITE.
(k)
Install the fan cowl panel on the engine (AMM 71-11-02/201).
(l)
Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE identifier from the throttle levers.

(3) Put the airplane back to normal if no further tests are necessary.

Disengage the A/T and the DFCS systems.

Set the two IRS mode selector switches to OFF.
(3)
Move all the throttle levers to the idle stop (full aft).

AUTOTHROTTLE COMPUTER - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first task is for the removal of the autothrottle computer. The second task is for the installation of the autothrottle computer.
B. You can find the autothrottle computer in the electronic equipment rack. There are two shelf-mounted swivel bolts which hold the autothrottle computer in position.

(1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P18-1 Circuit Breaker Panel
1) Autothrottle AC
2) Autothrottle DC

Open the Electronic Equipment Access Door to get access to the autothrottle computer.

Remove the Autothrottle Computer:
CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH THE CONNECTOR PINS OR OTHER CONDUCTORS ON THE
_______ AUTOTHROTTLE COMPUTER. IF YOU TOUCH THESE CONDUCTORS, ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE COMPUTER.
(a)
Loosen the swivel bolts.
(b)
Operate the extractor to remove the autothrottle computer.
