_______ LE AND TE FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAPS. THE FLAPS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (u)  
Move the flap control lever to the UP detent.

 1)  Make sure that the display on the yaw damper coupler shows a CAS qpot between -6.5v and -8.5v.

 (v)  
Push the down arrow key on the keypad.


 1)  Make sure that the display on the yaw damper coupler shows N1 eng 1 0.00 to 0.10.

Use the engine 1 function generator to apply 3.0 |0.5v ac at 1086 |130 Hz. 1) Use the multimeter to make sure that the applied voltage is

 correct. 2) Make sure that the display on the yaw damper coupler shows N1 eng 1 0.42 |0.08.

 (x)  
Decrease the engine 1 function generator to approximately 0.0v.

 1)  Make sure that the display on the yaw damper coupler shows N1 eng 1 0.00 to 0.10.

 (y)  
Push the down arrow key on the keypad.

 1)  Make sure that the display on the yaw damper coupler shows N1 eng 2 0.00 to 0.10.

 (z)  
Use the engine 2 function generator to apply 3.0 |0.5v ac at 1086 |130 Hz. 1) Use the multimeter to make sure that the applied voltage is


 correct. 2) Make sure that the display on the yaw damper coupler shows N1 eng 2 0.42 |0.08. (aa) Decrease the engine 2 function generator to approximately 0.0v. 1) Make sure that the display on the yaw damper coupler shows N1 eng 2 0.0 to 0.10. (ab) Push the MENU key on the keypad. 1) Make sure that the display shows ANALOG I/O? (ac) Push the down arrow key on the keypad. 1) Make sure that the display shows DISCRETE I/O? (ad) Push the YES key on the keypad. 1) Make sure that the display shows f loc a = not sel.
 (ae) Set the captain's flight director (F/D) switch on the digital flight control system mode control panel (DFCS MCP) on the P7 glareshield panel to ON.
 (af) Make sure that the first officer's flight director (F/D) switch on the DFCS MCP is set to OFF.
 (ag) Use the VOR/ILS ramp test set to apply a LOC radio signal of more than two dots fly right deviation on VHF navigation receiver 1. 1) Make sure that the display on the yaw damper coupler shows
 f loc a = not sel. (ah) Push the APP button on the DFCS MCP.
 1)  AIRPLANES WITH EFIS; Make sure that VOR/LOC ARM shows on the electronic attitude indicator (EADI) on the P1 captain's main instrument panel.

 2)  AIRPLANES WITHOUT EFIS; Make sure that VOR/LOC ARM shows on the flight mode annunciator on the P1 captain's main instrument panel.
 (ai) Use the VOR/ILS ramp test set to decrease the LOC radio signal to zero deviation on VHF navigation receiver 1. 1) AIRPLANES WITH EFIS;
 Make sure that VOR/LOC ENGAGED shows on the electronic attitude indicator (EADI) on the P1 captain's main instrument panel.
 2)  AIRPLANES WITHOUT EFIS; Make sure that VOR/LOC ENGAGED shows on the flight mode annunciator on the P1 captain's main instrument panel.
 3) Make sure that the display on the yaw damper coupler shows f loc a = sel. (aj) Set the captain's flight director (F/D) switch on the DFCS MCP to OFF. (ak) Set the first officer's flight director (F/D) switch on the DFCS MCP to ON. (al) Push the down arrow key on the keypad. 1) Make sure that the display shows f loc b = not sel.
 (am) Use the VOR/ILS ramp test set to apply a LOC radio signal of more than two dots fly right deviation on VHF navigation receiver 2.
 (an) Push the APP button on the DFCS MCP.
 1)  AIRPLANES WITH EFIS; Make sure that VOR/LOC ARM shows on the electronic attitude indicator (EADI) on the P3 first officer's main instrument panel.
 2)  AIRPLANES WITHOUT EFIS; Make sure that VOR/LOC ARM shows on the flight mode annunciator on the P3 first officer's main instrument panel.
