Make sure ELEC 2 HYD PUMP A is on.
 (f)  
Make sure that the FLT CONT A switch is in the ON position.
 (g)  
Make sure SPOILER A and B switches are in the ON position.

 (8)  Adjust the elevator position sensor
 (a)  
Make sure the trailing edge of the right elevator is in line with the tail cone index |0.06 inches.
 (b)  
Loosen the screw on the sensor clamp until you can turn the sensor.
 (c)  
Turn the sensor case slowly until the CDU shows -0.48 |0.05 volts.
 (d)  
Tighten the clamp screw to 8 to 12 pound-inches.
 (e)  
Remove the lockwire and turn the thumbnut on the microadjustment rod until you get a value of -0.48 |0.03 volts.
 (f)  
Put the lockwire through the thumbnut on the microadjustment rod.
