5) After approximately 60 seconds, make sure that the display
shows TEST PASS.
(n) Push the ON/OFF key on the keypad.
1) Make sure that the display shows TURN DISPLAY OFF?
(o) Push the YES key on the keypad.
1) Make sure that the display momentarily shows DISPLAY OFF.
NOTE:____ The the yaw damper coupler does a 15-second shutdown
procedure after this indication. Do not push the
ON/OFF key again until the shutdown procedure is
completed.

(11) Do the yaw damper coupler test of the rudder pressure reducer.
(a)
Set the FLT CONTROL A switch on the P5 overhead panel to OFF.
1) Make sure that the FLT CONTROL A low pressure light below the switch comes on.
(b)
Push the ON/OFF key on the keypad. 1) Make sure that the display shows ENTER BITE?
(c)
Push the YES key on the keypad within ten seconds. 1) Make sure that the display shows EXISTING FAULTS?
(d)
Push and release the down arrow key until the display shows GROUND TESTS?
(e)
Push YES key on the keypad. 1) Make sure that the display shows SELF TEST?
(f)
Push and release the down arrow key until the display shows REDUCER TEST?
(g)
Push the YES key on the keypad.
1) Make sure that the display shows these indications: a) WARNING! WARNING! b) RUDDER MOVEMENT c) RUDDER CLEARED?
(h)
Make sure that all personnel are clear of the rudder.
CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(i)
Push the YES key on the keypad. 1) Make sure that the display shows SYS A HYD ON?
