(3) Get access to the A/P aileron actuators:
(a)
Install the downlocks on the main landing gear (Ref 32-00-01/201).
(b)
Make sure the screen doors for tire burst protection are open.

(4) Get access to the A/P elevator actuators:
(a) Remove the 3802 tail cone access door (Ref 12-31-41/201).

(5) Remove the hydraulic pressure switch:
(a)
Disconnect the electrical connector from the hydraulic pressure switch.
(b)
Remove the hydraulic pressure switch.
(c)
Remove the O-ring and discard it.
(d)
Put a cover on the open hydraulic port.

(1)
Remove the cover from the hydraulic port.
S 424-008
(2)
Install the hydraulic pressure switch:
(a)
Lubricate the O-ring with assembly lube or hydraulic fluid.
(b)
Lubricate the threads of the hydraulic pressure switch with assembly lube or hydraulic fluid.

Install the O-ring on the hydraulic pressure switch.
(d)
Install the hydraulic pressure switch.
(e)
Tighten the hydraulic pressure switch from 70 to 120 pound-inches.
(f)
Install the lockwire (AMM 20-10-44/401).
(g)
Connect the electrical connector to the hydraulic pressure switch.
E. Hydraulic Pressure Switch Test

(1) Close these circuit breakers and remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:

P6 Circuit Breaker Panel

P18 Circuit Breaker Panel

Do this task: "Hydraulic Pressure Switch - Adjustment/Test" (Ref 22-11-40/501).
(3)
Close the screen doors for the tire burst protection.
