AUTOPILOT ELEVATOR ACTUATOR - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

1. General
_______
A. This procedure contains three tasks. The first task and second task are the adjustment of the autopilot elevator actuator. The first task uses the F80217-125 test set for adjustment of the actuator. The second task uses the DFCS BITE test for the adjustment of the actuator (airplanes with -912 and on FCC). You can use one of these tests to adjust the actuator. The third task is the autopilot elevator actuator test.

Set the horizontal stabilizer B dimension to 41.57 |0.01 inch.
(b)
With hydraulic power on, make sure that the trailing edge of the elevator is aligned with the index plate mark |0.16 inch above and below the mark. If the elevator is not aligned, make adjustments: "Adjustment - Elevator and Tab Control System" (AMM 27-31-00/501).

Open the SHUTOFF VALVE FLT CONT circuit breakers on the P6 Circuit Breaker Panel.
