 (g) Turn the A/T disengage lights off if they flash.
 NOTE: AIRPLANES WITH A/T COMPUTER P/N 10-62017-11 AND
____ SUBSEQUENT; You can operate the Autothrottle system in the engine intermix, derate or substitution configuration. Make sure that you do the Engines/Ratings test. This test makes sure the engine types and the thrust ratings on the airplane agree with the program pins which are connected to the A/T computer and the FMC.
 E. Put The Airplane Back To Its Initial Condition

Remove the electrical power if it is not necessary
 (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Remove the hydraulic power if it is not necessary
 (AMM 29-15-00/201).

 AUTOTHROTTLE POWER LEVER ANGLE SYNCHRO - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General
_______
 A.  This procedure contains two tasks. The first task is for the removal of the Power Lever Angle (PLA) synchro. The second task is for the installation of the PLA synchro.
 B.  The PLA synchro is in the lower left area of the applicable engine.

 (1)  Rig Pin Kit - F70207
 NOTE: Rig pin F70207-23 or MS20392-3C pin (optional), or
____ equivalent 0.248 (+0.000/-0.002)-inch diameter 3-inch long rod or bolt.

 D.  Prepare for the removal
 S 864-001
 (1) Open these circuit breakers on the P18-1 load control center:
 (a)  
AUTO THROTTLE AC

 (b)  
AUTO THROTTLE DC

 S 864-017
 (2) Do these tasks to prepare for the autothrottle PLA removal:
 (a)  
Set the thrust lever approximately 20 degrees angle to install the rig pin in part power rig hole R.

 (b)  
Install the DO-NOT-OPERATE identifier.

 (c)  
Open the left (right) fan cowl panel on the applicable engine (Ref 71-11-02/201).

 (d)  
Disconnect the electrical connector from the synchro.
