SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS,
ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS
CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN
CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Supply hydraulic pressure (AMM 27-31-00/201).

Make sure the autopilot, attitude, compass, and air data systems on

Put the autopilot A (or B as applicable) engage switch to CWS.

STABILIZER POSITION SENSOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General (Fig. 401)_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first is for the removal of the stabilizer position sensor. The second is the installation of the stabilizer position sensor.
B. The stabilizer position sensors are connected to the stabilizer position crank arms and are installed on the aft bulkhead station 1156 (Ref 27-31-00/201, Elevator and Tab Control System). The stabilizer position sensors are found on opposite sides of the elevator feel mechanism.
