Push the LSK adjacent to (<DFCS) and make sure that the CDU shows DFCS BITE TEST 1/2.
(e)
Push the NEXT PAGE key and make sure that the CDU shows DFCS BITE TEST 2/2.
(f)
Push the LSK adjacent to (<RIGGING) and make sure that the CDU shows BITE TEST ELEV RIG 50.00.
(g)
Remove hydraulic power as shown on the CDU display.
WARNING: MAKE SURE PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE CONTROL
_______ COLUMN WHILE THE TEST CONTINUES. THE CONTROL COLUMN CAN MOVE WHICH CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(h)
Push the LSK adjacent to (<AILERON) and make sure that the CDU shows DFCS BITE TEST AILERON RIG 52.00.
(i)
Do these instructions on the CDU: 1) Make sure all control surfaces are clear 2) Supply hydraulic power to systems A and B 3) Set the aileron trim to 0 degrees. 4) Set the flaps to 1 unit 5) Put the A/P A engage switch in the CMD position
NOTE: If there is no response, push the LSK adjacent to
____ (<PUSH IF NO RESPONSE) to go back to the rigging menu.
6) Put the A/P B engage switch to the CMD position
NOTE: If there is no response, push the LSK adjacent to

(2) Adjust the aileron position sensor
(a)
Loosen the screw on the sensor clamp until you can turn the sensor.
(b)
Turn the sensor housing slowly until you get a value less than 60mV.
(c)
Tighten the clamp screw to 8 to 12 pound-inches.
(d)
Remove the lockwire and turn the thumbnut on the microadjustment rod until you get the smallest value less than 60mV.
(e)
Install the lockwire on the thumbnut.
(f)
Do the test again for the B system and make sure the B system sensors are nulled.

(3) Push the INIT REF key on the CDU to get out of BITE.
