 2) Push the YES key.
 3) Make a record of the message number.
 4) Push the down arrow key.
 5) Make a record of the flight deck effect.
 6) Push the down arrow key.
 7) Make a record of the line replaceable unit (LRU).
 8) Push the down arrow key.
 9) Make a record if the fault is latched.

 (3) Do these steps to look for more fault messages in EXISTING FAULTS:
 (a)  
Push the down arrow key. 1) Make sure that the display shows SHOP DETAILS?

 (b)  
Push the MENU key.

 1)  Make sure that the display shows the same fault message again.

 (c)  
Push the down arrow key. 1) Make sure that the display shows MORE DETAILS?

 (d)  
Push the NO key.


 1)  If the display shows a different fault message, do the steps for MORE DETAILS? shown above to find the fault details.
 2) If the display shows RESET LATCHES, continue. 3) Push the YES key. a) Make sure that the display shows ARE YOU SURE?
 4)  Push the YES key. a) Make sure that the display shows RESET IN PROGRESS. b) After 2 seconds, make sure that the display shows NO
 FAULTS. 5) Push the MENU key. a) Make sure that the display shows EXISTING FAULTS?
 (4)  If no more data is necessary, use the data you have to correct the fault.
 (a)  
Push the ON/OFF key on the keypad. 1) Make sure that the display shows TURN DISPLAY OFF?

 (b)  
Push the YES key on the keypad.


 B.  Do these steps to look for fault messages in FAULT HISTORY (Fig. 102):
 NOTE: Do these steps if you want to see a record of fault messages that

 occurred during and before this flight.

 NOTE: One power cycle is the length of time between the application

Push the ON/OFF key on the front of the yaw damper coupler (E1-3).
 (a)
Make sure that the display shows ENTER BITE?Push the YES key on the keypad within ten seconds.

 (a)  
Make sure that the A/P warning lights on the autoflight status annunciators (P1 and P3) come on.

 (b)
Make sure that the display shows EXISTING FAULTS?Push the down arrow key.

 (a)
Make sure that the display shows FAULT HISTORY?Push the YES key.
