Push the LSK 6R for the MAINT BITE INDEX 1/1 page on the CDU.
(e)
Push the LSK 3L (A/T) to go to page 1/2 of the A/T BITE test.
(f)
Push the LSK 1L (<CURRENT STATUS) and do these steps:
1) Set the thrust levers to idle stop.
2) Set the flaps to zero degrees.
3) Set the squat to on ground.
NOTE: Make sure you close these circuit breakers when
____ "SET SQUAT TO ON GROUND" is shown on the CDU: 1 - LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LIGHTS (P6-2 panel) 2 - AFC AFDS MCP DC (P18-1 panel)
(g)
Engage the autothrottle.
(h)
Push the LSK 6R (<CONTINUE).
NOTE: The test will automatically continue for about 45
____
seconds.
(i)
Follow the instructions that are shown on the CDU.
(j)
Make sure that "NO FAULT" is shown on the CDU at the end of the test.
(k)
If there is a failure, the CDU will show the components that cause failure.
(l)
Do the BITE test again with the new components until the test goes through.

(2) AIRPLANES WITH P/N 10-62017-1 THRU P/N 10-62017-5 A/T COMPUTERS; Push the LSK 5L (<INTERACTIVE TEST) on the last page of the CURRENT STATUS test results for the A/T BITE TEST INTERACTIVE page.

Push the NEXT PAGE key three times for the INPUT DISCRETES page 4/4 on the CDU.
(c)
Make sure the FMC CDU shows CFM56-3 for two CFM56-3-B1 engines and CFM56-3-B2 for two CFM56-3B-2 engines.
737-300 AIRPLANES WITH A CFM56-3C-1 ENGINE; Make sure the FMC CDU shows CFM56-3C-1.
NOTE: The CDU display will show ENG CONFIG INVALID if the A/T
____ computer is not connected for the CFM56-3-B1 or CFM56-3B-2 engines.
NOTE: AIRPLANES WITH P/N 10-62017-1 THRU P/N 10-62017-5 A/T COMPUTERS; You must disconnect the Autothrottle system in the engine intermix configuration. The CDU can only show one type of engine on the airplane.

(3) AIRPLANES WITH A/T COMPUTER P/N 10-62017-11 AND SUBSEQUENT; Do the A/T BITE Engines/Ratings test
NOTE: The A/T rating will not be shown if the A/T computer is not
____ connected to the Engine/Rating program pins: D1647B-35, -36 and D1647A-29 on diagram WDM 22-31-54. The FMC rating will not be shown if the ARINC word 276 from the FMC is not received.
(a)
Push the LSK 5L and make sure the CDU shows A/T BITE TEST -ENGINES/RATINGS page.
(b)
Make sure the L-ENGINE and R-ENGINE shown on the CDU agree with the two engines installed on the airplane.
(c)
Make sure the A/T RATING and FMC RATING shown on the CDU are correct.
NOTE: The FMC ratings should never be greater than the A/T
____
ratings.
(d)
Make sure there are no error messages shown on the FMC CDU ENGINES/RATINGS test page.
(e)
Push LSK 6L <INDEX> for the A/T BITE TEST index page.
(f)
Push the INIT/REF key on the FMC CDU to get out of the A/T BITE.
