1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first task is for the removal of the yaw damper coupler. The second task is for the installation of the yaw damper coupler.
B. You can find the yaw damper coupler in the main equipment center (E1-3).

(1) Open these circuit breakers on the P18-1 panel and attach the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
YAW DAMPER AC
(b)
YAW DAMPER DC

(2) Open the electronic equipment access door to get access to the yaw damper coupler (AMM 12-31-11/201).

CAUTION: DO NOT REMOVE THE YAW DAMPER UNTIL 3 MINUTES AFTER YOU REMOVE
_______ THE ELECTRICAL POWER. DO NOT TOUCH THE CONNECTOR PINS OR OTHER CONDUCTORS ON THE YAW DAMPER. IF YOU TOUCH THESE CONDUCTORS, ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE YAW DAMPER.
(3) Remove the Yaw Damper Coupler (AMM 20-10-07/201).
