ADJUST CABIN LIGHTING CONTROLS FOR OPTIMUM MSU AND CDU PANEL ILLUMINATION - Check that keyboard, clear key and illuminated panel intensity varies as cabin lighting control is adjusted. IF -

PLACE MSU MODE SELECTOR IN STBY AND SET DATA SELECTOR SWITCH TO DSRTK/STS - Check that:
(1) On airplanes with CIV-3IN, CIVA-20 AND CIVA-25 INS programs, FROM/TO display shows 1 2.
On airplanes with CIVA-28-A and CIVA-28A-2 INS programs,
FROM/TO display shows O 1.
On airplanes with CIVA-32C INS program,
FROM/TO display shows 0 1.

OPEN INS PWR CIRCUIT BREAKERS - Check that:
(1) CDU BAT light illuminates
(2) MSU BAT light does not illuminate
(3) Ground crew call horn (in the nose wheel well) sounds a warning 30 |10
seconds after circuit breakers are opened.
CLOSE INS PWR CIRCUIT BREAKERS - Check that:
(1) Left-hand data display shows desired track angle remaining in DCU memory from previous operation.
When HOLD button is pressed (and illuminated),
On airplanes with CIV-31N INS program,
the left-hand display shows 63 14
On airplanes with CIVA-20 INS program,
the left-hand display shows 11 05.
On airplanes with CIVA-25 INS program,
the left-hand display shows 11 11
On airplanes with CIVA-28-A INS program,
the left-hand display shows 11 17.
On airplanes with CIVA-28A-2 INS program,
the left-hand display shows 11 24.
On airplanes with CIVA-32C INS program,
the left-hand display shows 25 15.
When HOLD key is pressed again (and goes out) the left-hand data display returns to desired track.
(2) Right-hand data display shows nav mode (1st digit 0), action/malfunction codes (2nd and 3rd digits blank if no malfunction) align mode number (5th digit shows 9), and desired performance index (6th digit shows 5).
