 (3)
Message slot 3 - Range message located at top right displays
 selected range in blue.

 (4)
Message slot 4 - Color bar located directly below the mode message is displayed. This message slot normally displays a green, yellow, and red color bar. If the display experiences a color scheme failure, the message slot will identify the modified color scheme. When the slave operation is selected a SLV message will replace the three color bar display. If a system failure occurs a failure message identifing the faulty LRU will be displayed in place of the color bar or the SLV message. The LRU failure message will be displayed as T/R (receiver-transmitter), ANT (antenna), CTL (control panel), or DSP (indicator) in yellow.

 (5)
Message slot 6 - Ground clutter suppression message located at bottom left of indicator displays IDNT when ground clutter suppression is selected. Normally the slot is blank.

 (6)
Message slot 7 - Stabilization status message located at bottom right center. For stabilized operation, if the INS provides proper inputs, this slot will be blank. A flashing ATT will be displayed when an attitude input failure is detected (INS OFF or providing invalid pitch or roll signals). SAT will be displayed when system stabilization limits are exceeded due to unusual attitude maneuvers. All messages are blue color.

 (7)
Message slot 8 - Antenna tilt located in bottom right corner of the indicators. Message displays the antenna tilt angle in 0.25-degree increments in blue (cyan), from 15.00(X) to 15.00(X) where (X) represents an arrow pointing upward or downwards depending on the direction of antenna tilt selected. If the antenna tilt position is different than the position annunciated, a flashing FAIL message is displayed in slot 2 and an ANT message in slot 4).

 (8)
Message slot 9 - System message located below message slot 3 (range) this message displays which system is selected. This slot will be blank when system 1 is selected and will display S2 when system 2 is selected.

 F.  When TEST mode is selected, entire system is energized. Receive-transmit circuits are tested (system transmits) for one second and then are muted. A tilt and scan test is performed for the next 15 seconds ending electronically locked in boresight position and a test pattern of four concentric colored arcs appears on indicator (Fig. 101).
 G.  R/T front panel contains an elapsed time counter, OVERTEMP indicator, and overtemp RESET switch.
NOTE: Some R/Ts will not be equipped with an OVERTEMP indicator or
____
 overtemp RESET switch.

 (1)
Elapsed time counter indicates number of hours of operation.

 (2)
OVERTEMP indicator annunciates if power supply temperature exceeds minimum cooling requirements.

 (3)
Overtemp RESET switch allows overtemp indicator to be reset to no-fault position.
