The 28-volt dc interlock power from R/T No. 2 goes through the normally open contacts of the control panel SYS transfer switch to energize the waveguide switch coil. The waveguide switch connects the antenna waveguide to R/T No. 2. In addition, the 28-volt W/G switch interlock signal arms R/T No. 2 as discussed for R/T No. 1 above.
(e)
Energizing relay K1 also sends 115-volt ac switched power to the cooling blower located on the R/T mount. A blower test switch on the R/T mount tests blower operation when the R/T is removed.
(f)
The captain's and first officer's indicator PWR switch in on supplies 115-volt ac operating power to their respective indicator low voltage power supplies and blowers.

(a)
The weather radar indicators and receiver/transmitters receive single-phase, 400-Hz, 115-volt ac power through circuit breakers on circuit breaker panel P7. The antenna receives 115-volt ac power from the R/T selected.
(b)
Closing the R/T No. 1 circuit breaker sends a 28-volt dc interlock power signal from R/T No. 1 keep alive power supply our pin J1-C6 to the control panel pin k and the SYS transfer switch. With the SYS transit switch in position 1 the 28-volt dc signal goes through the waveguide switch to R/T No. 1 pin J1-D8 and to switch S1 which controls the operation of R/T relay K1. A ground goes from the SYS switch in the control panel on pin V to R/T No. 1 pin J1-B6 the to the R/T switch S1. The 28-volt dc signal switches S1 and sends the ground on pin J1-B6 to energize the K1 relay in either R/T No. 1 or R/T N0. 2. Energized R/T No. 1 relay K1 sends 28-volt dc operating power to the control panel and 115-volt ac switched power to antenna system No. 1. When R/T No. 1 is selected on the control panel, a discrete ground is sent to R/T No. 2 to prevent transmission.
(c)
When the No. 2 weather radar system is selected with the SYS transfer switch, the 28-volt dc interlock power to the R/T No. 1 is removed and a ground is applied to prevent transmission.
(d)
The 28-volt dc interlock power from R/T No. 2 goes through the system 2 contacts of the control panel SYS transfer switch to waveguide pin E which energizes the waveguide switch coil. The waveguide switch connects the antenna waveguide to R/T No. 2. In addition, the 28-volt W/G switch interlock signal arms R/T No. 2 as discussed for R/T No. 1 above.
