5) Range to 320 - 4 range marks, 320-mi range message and
80-mile range mark message.
(h) AF 183, 184;
Make sure each indicator shows the correct number of range
marks.
NOTE:____ The test pattern must stay the same for all
ranges. The bands are related to the position on the
indicators but not to the range.
1) Range to 20 - 4 range marks and a 20-mi range message.
2) Range to 40 - 4 range marks and a 40-mi range message.
3) Range to 80 - 4 range marks and a 80-mi range message.
4) Range to 160 - 4 range marks and a 160-mi range message.
5) Range to 240 - 4 range marks and a 240-mi range message.
(3) Set the SYS switch on the WXR control panel to the 2 position.
(4) Do the Operational Test for system 2.
(5) Set the SYS switch on the WXR control panel to the 1 position.
(6) If no more tests of the weather radar are necessary;
Do the Weather Radar System Shutdown Task.

3. System Test - Weather Radar System
__________________________________
A. General
(1)
The system test supplies a full test of the weather radar system. Tests that show the radar video must, if it is possible, have the airplane pointed so the antenna sector include hills and mountains.
(2)
The stabilization test is divided into two different tests . These are the self-test stabilization tests and the stabilization test that uses the tilt table. In the self-test stabilization test an ATT attitude message shows on the weather radar indicator when there is an INS input failure. In the stabilization test, that uses a tilt table, airplane manuevers are made that are more than the weather radar system limits. A SAT message will be shown on the weather radar indicator when the manually set pitch and roll limits are more than the weather radar system limits.

Prepare for the Weather Radar System Test
1) The prepare to do a test must be completed before the system test can be done. But, the prepare to do a test procedure does not need to be repeated before each system test part.
