NOTE:____1. On airplanes with 31N INU program part number 7884663-014, malfunction codes 12, 16, 27, 44, 46, 48, 50, 53 and 61 are deleted, code 18 requires action code 04 and code 56 is added (requiring action code 02). Malfunction code 56 occurs when displayed present position deviates from the inertial position by more than 3 + 3T (where T is NAV time in hours). Displayed present position is the inertial position plus any updates whether due to manual update, triple INS mixing or DME updating.
2. On airplanes with CIVA-20 INU program part number 7881711-005, malfunction codes 12, 16, 27, 44, 46, 48, 50 and 53 are deleted, codes 18 and 57 require action code 04 and code 55 is added (requiring action code 05). Malfunction code 55 occurs if an invalid input is received from ADEU and is corrected by replacing the ADEU (if installed).

On airplanes with CIVA-25 INU program part number 7881711-011, malfunction codes 12, 16, 27, 44, 46, 48, 49, 50, 53 and 61 are deleted, code 18 requires action code 04 and code 55 is added (requiring action code 05). Malfunction code 55 occurs if an invalid input is received from the ADEU and is corrected by replacing the ADEU (if installed).

On airplanes with PMS (CIVA-32C INU program part number 7891225-015) Malfunction Code 50. When this malfunction code occurs (with action code 02) observe navigation data on CDU displays. If data is unreasonable, replace NU. Malfunction codes 18 and 57. When these malfunction codes occur (with action code 04), recycle thru STBY and re-insert present position, select ALIGN. Replace if NU warning persists. Malfunction Code 52. When this malfunction code occurs (with action code 05) the INS did not receive PMS transmitted waypoint. Reload waypoints using PMS CDU. If malfunction re-occurs switch to INS waypoint control. Check PMS (34-62). Malfunction Codes 54 and 55. When these malfunction codes occur (with action code 05), the INS automatically reverts to INS waypoint control. Return INS to PMS waypoint control. Verify that waypoints are loaded into PMS. If malfunction re-occurs check PMS (34-62). Malfunction Codes 41 and 43. When these malfunction codes occur (with action code 06), recycle thru STBY and re-insert present position, select ALIGN. Replace NU if warning persists. Malfunction Code 56. When this malfunction code occurs (with action code 061, during ALIGN, recycle thru STBY and re-insert present position, select ALIGN. Replace NU if warning persists. When the malfunction code occurs during NAV and is caused by PMS position update, check PMS (34-62). If position update correct replace NU. If malfunction is caused by triple INS mixing, replace NU.

On airplanes with CIVA-28-A INU program number 7881711-017, malfunction codes 12, 16, 18, 27, 41, 43, 44, 46, 48, 49, 50, 53, 57 and 61 are deleted, codes 18 and 57 require action code 04, and codes 41 and 43 require action code 06, and code 56 (requiring action code 06) is added.

On airplanes with CIVA-28A-2 INU program number 7881711-0024, malfunction codes 12, 16, 18, 27, 41, 43, 44, 46, 48, 49, 50, 53, 57 and 61 are deleted, codes 18 and 57 require action code 04, and codes 41 and 43 require action code 06. Codes 51 (action code 02), and 56 (action code 06) are added.
