g) On airplanes with INS program 72-50-02, program number 72-50-02 is displayed as 72 in left display and 50-02 in right display.
h) On airplanes with INS program 72-50-03, program number 72-50-03 is displayed as 72 in left display and 50 03 in right display.
i) On airplanes with INS program 72-50-04, program number 72-50-04 is displayed as 72 in left display and 50 04 in right display.
(c) Insert correct present position data in each INS.
NOTE: Automatic alignment of INS cannot be completed until

1) Place data selector to POS and press N2 or S8 key for north or south present position latitude. Check that left numerical display blanks, N or S appears in left-hand data display and INSERT pushbutton illuminates.
2) Press numbered keys in sequence for present position latitude and observe that correct latitude appears in left-hand data display.
NOTE: Numbers shift to left in display as each additional
____ number is loaded. If incorrect data is displayed, press CLEAR key and repeat steps 1) and 2).
3) Press INSERT key and observe that INSERT key light remains illuminated.
4) Press W4 or E6 key for west or east present position longitude and observe that 000.00.0 followed by correct letter (W or E) appears in right-hand data display.
5) Press numbered keys in sequence for present position longitude and observe that correct longitude appears in right-hand data display.
NOTE: If incorrect data is displayed, press CLEAR key and
____ repeat steps 4) and 5).
6) Press INSERT key. Observe that INSERT key light extinguishes and that correct present position data within 0.2 minute is displayed in both left-hand and right-hand displays.
(d) Place data selector to DSR TK/STS and observe that status 80 is displayed in right-hand display.

(e) Place MSU mode selector switch to ALIGN and check that status 70 is displayed in right-hand display. Note and record time.
(f) Waypoint coordinate entry. 1) On each CDU, place data selectors to WPT and WPT switches to 1. 2) On any one control/display unit, perform following: a) Press N2 or S8 key for north or south first waypoint latitude. Observe that INSERT key illuminates and that 00.00.0 followed by correct letter (N or S) appears in left-hand data display.
b) Press numbered keys in sequence for first waypoint latitude and observe that correct latitude appears in left-hand data display.
NOTE: If incorrect data is displayed, press CLEAR

c) Press INSERT key. Observe that INSERT key light extinguishes and that correct data (within 0.2 minute) is still displayed in left-hand data display.

(g) Autofill Procedures, Waypoint Coordinate Entry. 1) On each control display unit place the data selectors to WPT.
2) On CDU No. 1 place the AUTO/MAN/RMT switch to RMT. On CDU No. 2 and No. 3 place the AUTO/MAN/RMT switches to MAN.
