(f) Press INSERT key. Observe that INSERT key light extinguishes and that correct present position data within 0.1 minute is displayed in both left-hand and right-hand displays.
(3) Insert Waypoint/Destination Data (All INS)
(a)
Press REMOTE key on each CDU and observe that REMOTE key illuminates on each CDU.
(b)
Place Data Selector to WAYPT and waypoint selector to 1.
NOTE: Remaining steps of this procedure should be performed
____ on any one CDU to remotely load waypoint data simultaneously into all INS.

Press N2 or S8 key for north or south first waypoint or destination latitude. Observe that INSERT key illuminates and that 00.00.0 followed by correct letter (N or S) appears in left-hand data display.
(d)
Press numbered keys in sequence for first waypoint or destination latitude and observe that correct latitude appears in left-hand data display.
NOTE: If incorrect data is displayed, press CLEAR key,
____ observe that INSERT key light goes out, and repeat steps (c) and (d).
(e)
Press INSERT key. Observe that INSERT key light extinguishes and that correct data (within 0.1 minute) is still displayed in left-hand data display.

Press W4 or E6 key for west or east waypoint, or destination longitude. Observe that INSERT key illuminates and that 000.00.0 followed by correct letter (W or E) appears in right-hand data display.

Press numbered keys in sequence for first waypoint or destination longitude and observe that correct longitude (within 0.1 minute) appears in right-hand data display.
NOTE: If incorrect data is displayed, press CLEAR key,

(4) Check INS Status (All INS)
(a)
Press REMOTE key on each CDU and observe that REMOTE key light goes out on all INS.
(b)
Place data selector to DSRTK/STS and observe that three digits appear in right-hand display. (See figure 501.) The fifth digit from the left indicates the align mode number during the align mode. The sixth digit is set to 5 during ALIGN and cannot be changed during the align mode.
