 3) Drift angle bug is to the right of lubber line.
 4) MILES display goes blank.
 (t)  Press and hold No. 1 INS CDU AUTO-MAN TEST pushbutton. Check
 that CAPT's HSI GND SPEED indicator reads 888.
 (u)  Release No. 1 INS CDU AUTO-MAN TEST pushbutton.
 (v)  Return CAPT's VOR-ILS/INS switch to INS position.
 (w)  Test F/O's HSI with No. 2 INS system.
 1) Repeat steps (i) through (q) for No. 2 INS system
 substituting F/O's HSI for CAPT's HSI, No. 2 INS CDU for
 No. 1 INS CDU, and F/O's VOR-ILS/INS switch for CAPT's
 VOR-ILS/INS switch.
 (x)  Test F/O's HSI with No. 3 INS system (ATLAS ALL EXCEPT
 AT 701-750).

 1)  Set INS transfer switch to the CAPT 1 F/O 3 position. Verify that: a) INS switch annunciator illuminates CAPT 1 F/O 3. b) CAPT's HSI data source annunciator reads 1. c) F/O's HSI data source annunciator reads 3.
 2)  Repeat steps (i) through (v) for No. 3 INS system substituting F/O's HSI for CAPT's HSI, No. 3 INS CDU for No. 1 INS CDU, and F/O's VOR-ILS/INS switch for CAPT's VOR-ILS/INS switch.
 (y) Test F/O's HSI with No. 3 INS system. (AT 701-750)
 1)  Set F/O INS transfer switch to the ON 3 position. Verify that: a) CAPT's HSI data source annunciator reads 1. b) F/O's HSI data source annunciator reads 3.
 2)  Repeat steps (i) through (v) for No. 3 INS system substituting F/O's HSI for CAPT's HSI, No. 3 INS CDU for No. 1 INS CDU, and F/O's VOR-ILS/INS switch for CAPT's VOR-ILS/INS switch.
 3)  Return F/O INS transfer switch to the NORM position.
 (z) Test F/O's HSI with No. 1 INS system (AT 701-750)
 1)  Set F/O INS transfer switch to the ON 1 position. Verify that: a) CAPT's HSI data source annunciator reads 1. b) F/O's HSI data source annunciator reads 1.
 2)  Repeat steps (i) through (v) for No. 1 INS system substituting F/O's HSI for CAPT's HSI, and F/O's VOR-ILS/INS switch for CAPT's VOR-ILS/INS switch.
 3)  Return F/O INS transfer switch to the NORM position.
 (aa) Test CAPT's HSI with No. 3 INS System (ATLAS ALL EXCEPT AT 701-750). 1) Set INS transfer switch to the CAPT 3 F/O 2 position.
 Verify that:
 a) INS switch annunciator illuminates CAPT 3 F/O 2.
 b) CAPT's HSI data source annunciator reads 3.
 c) F/O's HSI data source annunciator reads 2.

 2) Repeat steps (i) through (v) for No. 3 INS system substituting No. 3 INS CDU for the No. 1 INS CDU. (ab) Test CAPT's HSI with No. 3 INS system. (AT 701-750)
 1)  Set CAPT's INS transfer switch to the ON 3 position. Verify that: a) CAPT's HSI data source annunciator reads 3. b) F/O's HSI data source annunciator reads 2.
 2) Repeat steps (i) through (v) for No. 3 INS system substituting No. 3 INS CDU for the No. 1 INS CDU. 3) Return CAPT's INS transfer switch to the NORM position. (ac) Test CAPT's HSI with No. 2 INS system. (AT 701-750)
 1)  Set CAPT's INS transfer switch to the ON 2 position. Verify that: a) CAPT's HSI data source annunciator reads 2.

 b) F/O's HSI data source annunciator reads 2. 2) Repeat steps (i) through (v) for No. 2 INS system substituting No. 2 INS CDU for the No. 1 INS CDU. 3) Return CAPT's INS transfer switch to the NORM position.
 (ad) Test INS transfer relay and switch annunciator (AF 121, 122, 152-199; LH 011-030, 051-070, 082-099; AZ 221-299; MD 501-599; GN 601-699; VM 751-799). 1) Open CAPT FLT INST SW RELAYS; -INS circuit breaker located on ESSENTIAL FLIGHT INSTRUMENT BUS (P7 panel). 2) Set INS transfer switch to CAPT 1 F/O 3 position. Check that INS switch annunciator illuminates CAPT 3 F/O 2. 3) Close CAPT FLT INST SW RELAYS; -INS circuit breaker. Check that INS switch annunciator illumiantes CAPT 1 F/O 3. 4) Open F/O FLT INST SW RELAYS; -INS circuit breaker. 5) Set INS transfer switch to CAPT 1 F/O 2 position. Check that INS switch annunciator illuminates CAPT 1 F/O 3. 6) Close F/O FLT INST SW RELAYS; - INS circuit breaker. Check that INS switch annunciator illuminates CAPT 1 F/O 2.
 (ae) Test INS transfer relay and switch annunciator (ATLAS ALL EXCEPT AF 121, 122, 152-199; LH 011-030, 051-070, 082-099; AZ 221-299; MD 501-599; GN 601-699; VM 751-799; AT 701-750). 1) Open CAPT FLT INST SW RELAYS; -INS circuit breaker located on ESSENTIAL FLIGHT INSTRUMENT BUS (P7 panel). 2) Set INS transfer switch to CAPT 1 F/O 3 position. Check that INS switch annunciator illuminates CAPT 3 F/O 2. 3) Close CAPT FLT INST SW REALYS; -INS circuit breaker. Check that INS switch annunciator illuminates CAPT 1 F/O 3. 4) Open CAPT FLT INST SW RELAYS; -INS circuit breaker. 5) Set INS transfer switch to CAPT 1 F/O 2 position. Check that INS switch annunciator illuminates CAPT 1 F/O 3. 6) Close CAPT FLT INST SW RELAYS; -INS circuit breaker. Check that INS switch annunciator illuminates CAPT 1 F/O 2.
