Procedure
(1)
Make sure that the landing gear ground locks are installed.

WARNING: CAREFULLY DO THE SPECIFIED TASK TO INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS ON
_______ THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Install the door locks on the doors for the wing landing gear (AMM 32-00-30/201).

_______ FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED, THE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER.

Put the flap control lever in the 30-unit detent to extend the flaps.

Do this task to depressurize hydraulic system No. 4: "Hydraulic System Depressurization" (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Remove the quadrant
(a)
Remove the spoiler piston rod end bolt to disconnect the spoiler from the control package (Fig. 201).
(b)
Manually lift the spoiler and make sure it stays in the up position.
(c)
Loosen the spoiler control cables at the turnbuckles in the wing landing gear wheel well.
(d)
Install the cable clamps on the cables at the quadrant.
(e)
Remove the cables from the quadrant.
(f)
Remove the input arm rod from the quadrant lever.
(g)
Remove the bolt which attaches the quadrant to the bracket.
