(3) Do this task: "Trailing Edge Flap Activation" (AMM 27-51-00/201). S 865-018
WARNING:_______ MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE AND TE
FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP
CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED, THE FLAPS WILL
MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP
CONTROL LEVER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO
EQUIPMENT.
(4)
Do this task to retract the TE flaps to the full up position: "Trailing Edge Flap Retraction with Hydraulic Power" (AMM 27-51-00/201).
(a)
Make sure the flap indicator bars of the FLAPS display on the EICAS change from green to magenta color when the flaps start to move.
(b)
Make sure the flap indicator bars change to green when the flaps are fully retracted.

Make sure that the indication of the applicable TE FLAPS position on the EICAS flight controls maintenance page is -0.15 - 0.16 degree.

Move the flap control lever to the 30-unit detent.
(a)
Make sure that the FLAPS display shows on the EICAS when you move the flap control lever. 1) The flap indicator bars will show in magenta color when the
flaps start to move. 2) The flap indicator bars will change to green when the flaps are at the set position.

Make sure that the TE flap position indication on the EICAS flight controls maintenance page is 28.69 - 31.32 degrees for the inboard flaps, and 28.31 - 31.70 for the outboard flaps.
