(1) Make sure the ground lock pins for the landing gear are installed.

WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO INSTALL
_______ THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Wing Landing Gear" (Ref 32-00-30/201).

Do this task: "Hydraulic System Depressurization"
(Ref 29-11-00/201).

(4)
Remove the lever assembly (Fig. 201):
(a)
Remove the bolt, washer and nut to remove the central control actuator link from the crank.
(b)
Remove the nut from the central control actuator input shaft.
(c)
Loosen the retaining bolt and remove the lever assembly.

(5)
Repair the lever assembly:
(a)
Remove the rivets from the holes in the lever assembly.
CAUTION:_______DO NOT MAKE THE RIVET HOLES LARGER. YOU WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE LEVER.

(b)
Clean the surfaces of the parts.
(c)
Apply a thin layer of the grease on the lever assembly.
(d)
Install the new shear rivets.
NOTE:____Install the correct rivets. See the aluminum foil marker or Fig. 201 for the correct rivets.
(e)
Replace the aluminum foil marker on the lever assembly if it has damage or if it is not there.
(f)
Clean the inspection hole.
(g)
Fill the inspection hole with the corrosion preventive compound.

(6)
Install the lever assembly.
(a)
Put the lever assembly on the input shaft for the central control actuator and install the nut. 1) Tighten the nut to 50-500 pound-inches (5.65-56.5 Nm) 2) Install the cotter pin.
(b)
Tighten the lever retaining bolt.
(c)
Connect the central control actuator to lever assembly.

(7) Do this task: "Functional Test - Spoiler Differential Mechanism" (Ref Paragraph 4).

1. General_______
A. There are six tasks in this procedure. There are tasks for the removal and tasks for the installation of an inboard spoiler control package, a filter, and a thermal relief valve.

The spoiler control package removal procedure has these parts:
(a)
An extension of the flaps
(b)
An extension of the spoilers
(c)
The removal of the control package.
(2)
The spoiler control package installation procedure has these parts:
(a)
The installation of the spoiler control package
(b)
An adjustment of the spoiler clearances
