NOTE: One thumbrest projection can be a maximum of 0.05 inch

Examine the operation of the spoilers:
(a)
Turn the captain's aileron control wheel counterclockwise 15 degrees from zero. 1) Make sure that spoilers No. 1 thru 5 move up from the fully
down position.
(b)
Turn the aileron control wheel back to 8 degrees counterclockwise from neutral. 1) Make sure that spoilers No. 1 thru 5 are fully down.
(c)
Turn the captain's aileron control wheel clockwise 15 degrees from zero. 1) Make sure that spoilers No. 8 thru 12 move up from the
fully down position.
(d)
Turn the aileron control wheel back to 8 degrees clockwise from neutral (do not overshoot). 1) Make sure that spoilers No. 8 thru 12 are fully down.

Subtract the actual clearance between the spoiler and the flap from the distance you measure.Turn the control wheel counterclockwise 83 degrees from zero. 1) Make sure that spoiler No. 3 moves 30.80 |0.98 inches
