Make sure the force is not more than the specified limits.
(d)
If the force is again more than the specified limits, do these steps: 1) Remove the access panels (for the left wing 571AB, 572EB,
572FB, 572GB, and 573CB or for the right wing 671AB, 672EB, 672FB, 672GB and 673CB) to get access to all the pulleys and quadrants.
2) Release the cable tension for the applicable system.
3) Examine the pulleys for damage.
4) Turn the pulleys.
a) Make sure the pivot bearing can move freely. b) Make sure the pulleys are correctly installed in the support bracket. 5) Do a check of the brackets and the fairleads for worn areas. 6) Replace the pulley if there are obstructions. a) Do a check of the cable for worn areas. 7) Make sure the pivot bearings for the spoiler actuator quadrant can move freely.
NOTE: If an inspection of the inboard flight spoiler
____ system is necessary, carefully examine the quadrant pivot installation. Also examine the ratio changer linkage at the No. 5 and 8 spoiler PCUs.
8) Assemble and rig the applicable system. 9) Install all the access panels removed.
(e)
Connect the couplings.
(f)
Connect the CCA input lever, if it is necessary.

WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO REMOVE THE
_______ DOOR LOCKS FROM THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Do this task: "Removal of the Door Locks from the Wing Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).
(3)
Do this task: "Trailing Edge Flaps Retraction" (AMM 27-51-00/201).

INBOARD FLIGHT SPOILERS - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. There are two tasks in this procedure. There is one task for the removal and one task for the installation of an inboard flight spoiler.
(1)
The removal procedure has these parts:
(a)
The extension of the spoilers
(b)
The extension of the trailing edge flaps
(c)
The installation of the support equipment
(d)
The removal of the spoiler.
(2)
The installation procedure has these parts:
(a)
A check of the parts that attach the spoiler for worn areas
(b)
The installation of the spoiler
(c)
The removal of the support equipment
(d)
An adjustment of the clearance between the spoilers and the wing surfaces
(e)
An adjustment of the seals
(f)
An adjustment of the clearance between the spoiler and the flaps.
