Install the Spoiler Control Package

Make sure that hydraulic system No. 4 is depressurized

Make sure the distance from the centerline of the rod end bearing to the checknut is 2.40 |0.05 inches(61 |1.27mm).

Install the spoiler control package (Fig. 201):
(a)
Put the control package (1) in its position and install the four bolts (3), washers (4), and nuts (5).
(b)
Seal the bolts with the sealant.
(c)
Connect the hydraulic lines (2) to the control package (1): 1) Remove the caps from the hydraulic lines and the ports of
the control package. 2) Connect the hydraulic lines to the control package.
(d)
Attach the input arm rod assembly (6) to the input arm: 1) Put the rod assembly in its position.
NOTE: Make sure the rod end with the larger diameter,
____ points forward. Make sure you can get access to the lubrication fittings on the rod ends.
2) Install the bolt (8), washer (10), nut (9) and cotter pin on the rod.
(e)
If it is necessary, install the antirotation plate (12), with the bolt (18), washers (11), and nut (13).
(f)
Connect the piston rod end of the control package to the spoiler: 1) Install the bolt (14), bushings (15), washer (17) and nut
(16).

2) Hold the bolt head with the spoiler socket adapter assembly. 3) Tighten the nut to 1500-1800 pound-inches(169.5-203.4Nm) more than the run-on torque. 4) Remove the spoiler socket adapter assembly.
