Make sure the No. 1 and 3 thrust levers are in the idle position.

 (b)  
Make sure the No. 2 and 4 reverse thrust levers are in the idle position.

 (c)  
Move the speed brake lever to the ARM position.

 (d)  
Make sure the speed brake lever automatically moves to the UP position.

 (c)  Tighten the checknut on the upstop.
