Put the speed brake control lever in the FLIGHT position.
(b)
Make sure the spoilers move to the 20-degree position.
(c)
Put the speed brake control lever in the UP position. 1) Make sure the spoilers move to the full up position (45 degrees).
2) Make sure the quadrant and the ratio changer linkage move freely.
(d)
Move the control lever to the DOWN position. 1) Make sure the spoiler moves to the full down position.
(e)
Make sure the quadrant and the ratio changer linkage move freely.

Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE AND TE
_______ FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED, THE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER.
(1) Put the flap control lever in the UP detent to retract the flaps.

Do this task: "Inboard Flight Spoiler Quadrant Removal" (Ref Paragraph 2).

Repair the quadrant:
CAUTION:_______DO NOT MAKE THE RIVET HOLES LARGER. YOU WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT.
(a)
Remove the broken parts of the rivets from the holes.
(b)
Install the new shear rivets. 1) Use a BACR15BB6D for the lever shearout. 2) Use a BACR15BB6B for the rig pin shearout.
(c)
Examine the marker for the shearout on the lever.
NOTE: There is no marker for the rig pin shearout.

1) Replace the marker if it is damaged or not there.
(d) Clean the inspection hole for lever shearout.
