Do a test of the operation of the spoiler differential mechanism with the aileron control wheel (Fig. 201):
(a)
Put the aileron control wheel in the neutral position as shown by the trim indicator decal on the control wheel.
(b)
Put the speed brake control lever in the DOWN position.
(c)
Turn the captain's aileron control wheel to the full counterclockwise position.
(d)
Make sure that the spoiler No.3 is up 30.80 |0.98 inches (782+/-24.9mm) (45.0+/-1.5 degrees). If you measure the linear dimension: 1) Find the reference point on the spoiler trailing edge at
