Make sure you can easily install the rig pin A/S-13 in the differential mechanism in the right wing gear wheel well.
(d)
Make sure you can easily install the rig pin A/S-12 in the differential mechanism in the left wing gear wheel well.
(e)
If you cannot easily install the rig pins A/S-12 or A/S-13, adjust the applicable rod assembly and tighten checknuts.

WARNING: OPEN THE CIRCUIT BREAKERS TO PREVENT THE SPOILER RETRACTION.
_______ IF YOU USE THE SPEED BRAKE LEVER TO LIFT THE SPOILERS, AND IF YOU RELEASE THE PRESSURE IN HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS NO. 1 AND 4, THE SPOILERS WILL RETRACT AUTOMATICALLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.

Open the following circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:

Measure the clearance between the spoilers No. 6 and 7 and the trailing edge flaps (Fig. 504).
(a)
Make sure the clearance at the nearest point between the spoilers No. 6 and 7 and the trailing edge flaps is 0.055-0.075 inch (1.397-1.905mm).
(b)
Extend the trailing edge flaps fully (AMM 27-51-00/201).
(c)
Adjust the piston rod end 1 turn (360 degrees) to lower the trailing edge of the spoiler to 0.567 inch (14.4mm).
