 (d)  
Remove the retainer from the control stand.

 (e)  
Remove the three screws and washers that attach the shaft to the control stand.

 (f)  
Remove the speed brake lever and the shaft through the top or the side of the control stand.

 NOTE: The outboard bearing, spacer and shaft are installed
____ loose on the speed brake lever. Make sure the parts do not fall off during the removal.
 (g)  Remove the outboard bearing, spacer, and shaft from the control lever.
