Turn the aileron control wheel fully counterclockwise. 1) Make sure that spoilers No. 1 thru 7 are in the fully up position (45 degrees).
2) Make sure that spoilers No. 8 thru 12 are in the fully down position.
(d)
Turn the aileron control wheel to the neutral position.
1) Make sure the spoilers No. 1 thru 12 are in the fully up position (45 degrees).
(e)
Put the speed brake lever in the DOWN position.
1) Make sure that spoilers No. 1 thru 12 are in the fully down position.

Do a test of the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER - WING shutoff valves:
(a)
Put the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER - WING systems 2, 3 and 4 switches in the SHUTOFF position.
(b)
Turn the aileron control wheel fully clockwise and counterclockwise. 1) Make sure the spoilers do not operate.
(c)
Put the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER - WING systems 2, 3 and 4 switches in the NORM position.
(d)
Turn the aileron control wheel clockwise and counterclockwise. 1) Make sure the spoilers operate correctly.
