(a) If FAIL> shows: 1) Push the LSK that is adjacent to FAIL> to see the GROUND TEST MSG pages for the failure. 2) Push the NEXT PAGE key until you find all the GROUND TEST MSG pages. 3) Make a list of all CMCS messages, CMCS message numbers, and ATA numbers that show on the GROUND TEST MSG pages.
4) Go the the CMCS Message Index of the Fault Isolation Manual (FIM) to find the corrective action for each CMCS message.
F. Put the Airplane in Its Usual Condition

Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Do the BITE self-test for the ADF Receivers.
(a)
Push either the right or left TEST switch on the applicable ADF receiver.
(b)
Make sure this sequence occurs on the ADF receiver LCD display: 1) TEST IN PROGRESS is displayed on the ADF front panel one second after the test switch is pressed.
2) TEST IN PROGRESS is displayed for four seconds with a moving thermometer along the bottom of the front panel display indicating the progress of the test from one to five seconds.
3) TEST COMPLETE, NO FAILURES is displayed on the front panel display.

(1) Prepare the airplane for air mode (AMM 32-09-02/201).

(2) Open this circuit breaker and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
