(b) P6 Main Power Distribution Center 1) 6E23 FLT DK LIGHTS PANEL F/O
(4) S 863-012Do this task to supply electrical power: (Ref 24-22-00/201). "Manual Control"
(5) S 743-008Set the IND LTS switch on the Pilots' Overhead Panel to the TEST position. (a) Make sure the lamps come on.
(6) S 863-009If electrical power is not necessary, do this task to remove electrical power: "Manual Control" (AMM 24-22-00/201).

GROUND PROXIMITY WARNING MODULE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This subject has two tasks, a removal and an installation of the warning module for the Ground Proximity system.
B. The ground proximity warning module (M7990) is on the first officer's instrument panel, P3.

2. Ground Proximity Warning Module Removal________________________________________
A. Access
(1) Location Zone

B. Procedure
S 864-002
(1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
1) 6E23 FLT DK LIGHTS PANEL F/O
(b)
P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7D9 GND PROX WARN
S 024-004
(2) Remove the warning module:
(a)
Loosen the fasteners on the module.
(b)
Pull the module from the instrument panel until you can get to the electrical connector.
(c)
Disconnect the electrical connector from the module.

(1) Make sure these circuit breakers are open.
(a)
P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
1) 6E23 FLT DK LIGHTS PANEL F/O
(b)
P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7D9 GND PROX WARN

(2) Install the warning module:
(a)
Connect the electrical connector to the module.
(b)
Lightly push the module into the instrument panel.
(c)
Tighten the fasteners that attach the module to the instrument panel.

(3) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:

(4) Do this task to supply electrical power: "Manual Control"

(a) Make sure the module panel lights are on.

(5) If electrical power is not necessary, do this task to remove electical power: "Manual Control" (AMM 24-22-00/201).
